Körmend broke with his player on try-out and further drop-outs can be expected. Körmend Basketball Club dismissed its star player on try-out, Corey Minnifield, who was not able to live up to the requirements in terms of his defensive play and willingness. The weekend tournament is still being analysed by the management, but further changes can be expected in the team set-up.
Dragoljub Krivacsevics, head coach: "Minnifield's performance in offense was all right, but his attitude on the field and his defensive play was not convincing at all. After the Saturday game we realised that he is not our man, that is the reason I gave him small chance to play on Sunday. If someone wants to play for Körmend, he has obligations to fight during the whole game. We do not need stars, but players who fight for each other and for the team. Despite of all what I said I wish him all the best in Kaposvár." |
