In response to Tamas Hensey interview on the BB1 website. Jibril Hodges never signed in Kormend!!! I was never given a contract by the club. I was called by Tamas Deri of TSS management, and he told me that Kormend wanted to sign me because they were unhappy with a player in my position. I was called at 00:30 Friday and advised to get on a train to Hungary in order to sign a contract and practice with Kormend in order to play against Sopron. So I take a train at 06:00 on Friday to arrive in Vienna at 16:00 (10 hours). Once in Vienna I then ride in a car 3 hours to the hotel. I believe that i will be practicing with the team at 20:00. No!!! I am sitting in the hotel until Tamas Deri comes to the hotel at 22:00, and he tells me that the team has not fired the other player, and that I need to sit in the hotel until Sunday or Monday. Because they dont want people to know that I am there. Extremely Unprofessional! So I traveled 15 hours, then sat in a hotel room and I didnt at all on Friday or Saturday. I was told that the manager would bring food to the hotel after the Sopron game, he never came! I was told Sunday morning that I would go to the gym with the Coach to do Shooting drills at 11:00. I didnt get to the gym until 17:00. Like I said i never ate during this time. The coach and I shot for 45 minutes and he discussed some systems of the team. I still never received a contract, which I was suppose to sign Friday night! So they want me to practice and not have signed a contract therefore I have no security. If I were to get hurt, they would just let me go. Unfortunately, this is a business and I understand that more than anyone, so no contract no job. This frustrates me to read this comment from a Coach that is 1-3 and is hoping to place the blame on me for his record. I've never played for Kormend, so Jibril Hodges is not the reason Kormend is 1-3. I actually averaged 18.2 points, 4 assists, and 3,7 rebounds against Kormend in 5 career games. Maybe Hencesey should stop worrying about Jibril Hodges and worry about his team! I have more than proven myself in the Hungarian league and I worked hard for the ASE and JKSE. I played my heart for the fans and for my family. This is my career and I take pride in my performance, therefore I will not allow this Coach that I NEVER PLAYED for try to destroy my NAME! People Lie!! My stats do not!!!
